A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HR RECRUITER
In this recruiting role, one of your primary goals is to ensure that top talent is hired in a timely and effective manner according to company needs. You manage the entire process from posting the jobs on job boards to meeting with candidates. Using your great people skills, you speak with possible hires over the phone and set up interviews. Working with HR managers and company management, you interview top qualified candidates. You are a pro at networking with other businesses and universities along with attending job fairs to get our company name out there. With attention to detail, you develop and update job descriptions and specifications. Upon the hire of new employees, you guide them through the onboarding process and help them through our company orientation. You love your role in human resources and know that you are ensuring that we have great talent joining our company.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HR RECRUITER
- Bachelor's degree in HR OR a related field OR related experience
- Proven work experience as a recruiter
- Ability to travel to Rio Grande Valley periodically
