Position Summary
The MSR Operations Specialist, known internally as RPX, will be responsible for day-to-day operational related activities. This role will focus on understanding business processes and their relationship to MSR (RPX) acquisitions, and analyzing and identifying areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and provide better service to internal and external customers
The MSR (RPX) Operations Specialist role reports to the MSR (RPX) Operations Manager in the Portfolio Management department. This role works closely with members of the Document Custody and Servicing Transfers teams along with other internal stakeholder and external vendors and clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist Transaction Management team in ensuring delivery of all data and documents required to service loans purchased through bulk and flow transactions
- Act as liaison between RoundPoint’s Loan Administration, Escrow, Investor Reporting and Document Custody departments and external partners
- Utilize key portfolio data and reporting, including generating, validating and presenting weekly and monthly reporting
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis services as required to meet business needs
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other similar discipline, or equal experience or certifications in this field.
- Flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, and strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, peers, and management
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently and effectively within a team
Desired:
- One to two years of recent experience in a financial or banking environment desired, but not required
