Finance Manager Job Description

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

FLSA Status: Salary, exempt

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

Summary: Oversee and/or execute all accounting functions to ensure business thrives.

Essential Functions

• Financial statement production and analysis
• Statistical accounting and analysis
• Provide timely financial information to ownership, management team, and CPAs
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Internal controls
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• File sales tax returns, use tax returns, and similar
• Retirement plan accounting
• FRA Drug & Alcohol program oversight
• Schedule and oversee Accounting department of 3-4 employees
• Completes Accounting Generalist duties as needed
• Completes Accounting Assistant duties as needed
• Completes Cash Clerk duties as needed
• Other related duties

Education/Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of related experience
• At least 25 years of age

Knowledge

• Ability to accurately count cash
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective and strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient on a 10-key calculator
• Solid knowledge and experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
• Ability & willingness to be trained to a proficient level on Comanche Reservations software and Aloha POS software
• Highest levels of integrity
• Willingness to authorize background and credit checks

• High energy workplace, requiring a high energy work pace
• Variable work environment; work is conducted both indoors and out under varying environmental conditions
• Appearance at all times must reflect a positive image of the company; Company uniform is required
• Fast-paced environment: Subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity including long days, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to ascend and descend several stairs
• Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs.
