What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Royall & Fleschler?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with preparation of financial statements including but not limited to income statements, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reports.
- Reconciles bank and investment-related statements.
- Reconciles and closes books monthly.
- Assisting with processing of Tax Returns.
- Preparation of Payroll Tax returns and property rendition returns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Full charge bookkeeper with working knowledge of accounting – cash and accrual basis.
Prior experience working for CPA firms a plus
· Working Expertise using QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks On-Line, Remote Accounting, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially with clients and co-workers
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Ability to manage priorities and workflow
