We are seeking a Shipping / Receiving / Utility person to join our team.

Job Purpose To receive goods and materials; safe-keep materials and finished products; prepare and ship orders; assist in other areas of the plant.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Receive and verify incoming materials and goods
• Package and palletize products to protect from shipping damage
• Replenish the carousel with product
• Work with trucking companies to get the lowest shipping prices possible
• Pull, pack, label, and ship UPS, FedEx, USPS, Freight shipments, etc.
• Operate forklifts, scales, carousel, shrink wrapper, dock ramps, battery chargers, and software involved in the shipping process
• Safely operate forklifts inside of trucks while receiving or shipping
• Not adversely affect work with unexcused absences
• Cross-train as needed

Other Duties:

• Work in areas other than the logistics department during the slow season
• Attend training or classes deemed necessary by the company
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor, or management

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions in English
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Ability to pass company forklift operation certification
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 40 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
