We are seeking a Shipping / Receiving / Utility person to join our team.

Job Purpose To receive goods and materials; safe-keep materials and finished products; prepare and ship orders; assist in other areas of the plant.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Receive and verify incoming materials and goods
- Package and palletize products to protect from shipping damage
- Replenish the carousel with product
- Work with trucking companies to get the lowest shipping prices possible
- Pull, pack, label, and ship UPS, FedEx, USPS, Freight shipments, etc.
- Operate forklifts, scales, carousel, shrink wrapper, dock ramps, battery chargers, and software involved in the shipping process
- Safely operate forklifts inside of trucks while receiving or shipping
- Not adversely affect work with unexcused absences
- Cross-train as needed
Other Duties:
- Work in areas other than the logistics department during the slow season
- Attend training or classes deemed necessary by the company
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor, or management
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to pass company forklift operation certification
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 40 pounds

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
