Position Summary:
Roy’zzz is looking for a Brand Coordinator facilitates brand marketing and communications projects in collaboration with leadership, content creators, production vendors, and media outlets across all stores, ancillary brands and any other outreach initiatives. The Cannabis industry is extremely limited in our ability to leverage traditional marketing, so we are looking for a creative problem solver who can take initiative and help distribute the limited communications we can to the largest audience we can. The Brand Coordinator will gain skills to have familiarity with our brand standards and Cannabis industry marketing regulations, and cultivate relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, vendors and customers from a brand perspective.
This individual will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Research marketing opportunities and make connections with compliant outlets.
- Create and facilitate a marketing calendar including daily, weekly and seasonal marketing opportunities with the regulatory limitations of our industry.
- Help identify target audiences in other verticals, e.g. outreach to medical clinics, homeopathic centers, or health centers to help educate on the benefits of Cannabis beyond what is currently known or accepted in the field.
- Research, connect and cultivate relationships with production outlets in support of retail store support, e.g. sign companies, display production, printers, digital vendors, technology providers, etc.
- Create and manage a marketing dashboard to report metrics periodically to management and marketing team.
- Deliver accurate and periodic project status report.
- Be organized and have answers on all aspects of a branding initiative.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a brand coordinator, or experience in assisting brand coordination
- Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Google Work Suite (manage and organize Google Drive with marketing assets)
- CMS or Wordpress knowledge (limited) to make minor updates to Website and CRM
- Up-to-date with new marketing trends and basic brand coordinator tasks
- Excellent command of the English language along with written and verbal skills
- Compelling research and analytical skills
- Traditional paid media and earned media knowledge a plus
- Social media marketing experience a plus
- CRM experience a plus
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older according to South Dakota state law
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the medical cannabis industry highly desirable
- Experience working in the health & wellness industry highly desirable
