Urgently Hiring Charity Fundraisers!
Full Time with the availability to start immediately
We are seeking outgoing professional fundraisers who are self motivated and committed to making a positive impact in the world! We represent a global humanitarian charity that focuses on saving children from abusive and neglectful homes. This organization raises funds to help get children out of abusive homes and provide them with physical and mental health services as well as the every-day necessities all while trying to rehome the children to a safe environment.
In this role you will be a part of our growing team of inspiring fundraisers to donate which can help make a positive impact on these children's lives. Our charity goes to various places with high foot traffic such as restaurants, stores, and markets to spread word of what we stand for. We are looking for candidates who are extremely outgoing and comfortable approaching, conversing, and encouraging guests to donate at various local events. Candidates must also be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, as well as standing for long periods of time.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Customer service experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Comfortable speaking with various individuals all day required
- Comfortable encouraging people to donate money to the organization required
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors required
- Comfortable standing for multiple hours at a time required
- Self driven and able to hit individual and team goals
- Team players who thrive on a strong team-based environment
Responsibilities:
- Fundraising in various high foot traffic locations and events both indoors and outdoors for our organization
- Growing your knowledge on our organizations history, mission, and goals to answer questions from potential donors
- Approach and converse with a wide variety of guests on a daily basis
- Encourage guests to donate to our cause and explain where the funds will go
- Execute and take down events
- Participate in meetings to discuss and report how campaigns are doing
- Engage and brainstorm fundraising ideas
