You will be promoting and marketing the benefits of switching to solar to homeowners out in the field in a residential setting.

This position is ideal for those interested to take on the challenge of achieving individual and team sales objectives, and is comfortable dealing directly with clients in person in residential areas. You will also be presenting in person sales presentations, negotiating and closing sales, and following through with customers installation process. We are looking for candidates with a few years of previous sales experience, like mobile sales, insurance, car sales, etc. excited to work in the solar world! Responsibilities:
- Promote and market our business to homeowners in residential areas to generate leads
- Present to homeowners on the benefits of switching to renewable energy
- Pre-qualify and set appointments for homeowners
- Negotiate and finalize sales for large contracts
- Follow up with customers throughout the installation process to build rapport
- Become an expert in solar through our leadership and training programs so you can have job security for years to come
- Attend company meetings and trainings as required
Requirements:
- 1-3 years sales experience preferred
- Must be extremely outgoing and friendly
- Must be comfortable approaching homes in residential areas
- Drivers license and reliable transportation are required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Previous experience with large contracts preferred
- Must be self motivated to work with little supervision and to hit target sales goals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
