What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Transfer Technician position at RPG Resources, LLC?
RPG Resources (RPG) is in immediate need for a full time Water Transfer Technician operating out of our Carnegie, PA office.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Drive a heavy duty truck with a skid-mounted pump unit on the truck’s flatbed or a separate trailer;
· Operation of the included pump to transfer produced water from well pad locations to centralized storage facilities via a permanent pipeline system, under the supervision of our Client’s Production and Water Groups;
· Responsible for preparing project specific logs and checklists;
· Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on company vehicles based on DOT requirements; and,
· Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required by supervisors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to graduation from high school, plus two years of work experience. Candidate must have a valid driver's license. A commercial driver’s license is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Clear and concise oral and written communication. Ability to read and understand site-specific Water Management Plan (WMP), Metering/Intake Plan, Groundwater Protection Plan (GPP), and Spill Prevention I Response Plans. Excellent organizational skills. Experience using Microsoft Office computer software. Previous Safeland PEC training or experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Must have the ability to work in extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions.
· Must work shifts and weekends with a possible shift differential as the schedule necessitates.
· All required safety and other training mandatory for the position will be provided by the Company.
