The position: The Resident Liaison responds to and resolves all resident relation issues, in addition to interacting directly with current residents and management staff to maximize operational results. Customer Service
Responsibilities
- Organization with scheduling pest control treatments, washer and dryer installations in occupied units as well as renewal follow up to keep occupancy.
- Promptly returns resident calls and responds to emails. Proactively contacts residents to identify needs and follow up on resident concerns to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
- Proactively communicates with residents during complex, multi-touch service requests and projects. In the absence of a Community Manager, maintains and executes Communication plans for complex service or capital projects
- Attends community events; maintains high resident visibility by interacting, visiting common/amenity areas to communicate, build, and maintain relationships and gather feedback on the resident experience
- Collaborates with Community Manager on mass resident Communications related to service outages, capital projects, emergencies, and events
- Effectively explains lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents
- Responds to resident relations inquiries and property emails; escalate issues to Community Manager or Regional Manager as needed
- Follows up and responds to resident survey feedback to determine the best course of action to resolve the issue
- Makes recommendations on process improvements to enhance the overall resident experience on the property
- Assists the Community Manager in all aspects of operations including partnering with accounting functions such as account statement, delinquency, collections, and evictions
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Related multi-family property management experience preferred
- Experience with RealPage software a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills are essential
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- A current, valid Driver License is required
