What are the responsibilities and job description for the CATT Manager position at RSM?
- Research, document and interpret functional requirements for enhancements to existing tools/processes or
- Implementation of new tools/processes
- Design the set up and configuration for client tax software and process implementations
- Establish and manage relationships with tax line of business subject matter experts and IT
Testing:
- Test case design
- Scheduled and ad hoc testing and maintenance of existing tax processes and tools
Support:
- Issue identification and follow up with the engagement teams and other escalations as necessary
- Escalation point for Level 3 support ticket follow up when assigned including communications and alignment with IT
Leadership:
- Mentoring of TP&T Senior Associates and other stakeholders
- Build and leverage internal and external networks
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - required (preference given to Business or Technology major)
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience required (for example; tax technical, tax office operations, public accounting)
- Prior public accounting experience with a mid to large size firm(s) or other professional services experience required
- Prior management experience working within a national tax role in tax software, processes, or both preferred
Preferred qualifications:
- Business analysis training and experience
- Excel training and advanced skills
- Great attention to detail and quality
