Project Billing Coordinator

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE I

Primary responsibilities:

• Prepares Monthly Progress Billings, including lien releases, using MS Excel, Dynamics AX and Textura
• Work with project managers to complete their billings
• Complete over/under billing summary and review with management
• Complete cost plus billings for certain projects
• Bill any sales orders as needed
• Approve change order budgets
• Prepares billing logs for all project managers
• Maintain all billing files
• Job startups
• Be accountable to AR Billing metrics
• Perform job cost analysis and move job costs as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have:

• Intermediate Excel Skills
• Excellent Data Entry Skills
• Experience in cost plus billings
• Understanding of Construction/manufacturing billing procedures
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to multi task
• Have good customer service skills
• Computer skills in a Network environment

Preferred:

• Dynamics AX Accounting or other ERP systems
• Worked in a team environment with at least 5 accounting staff
• Worked for a large construction/manufacturing company

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• This positions works within an office environment
• Regularly required to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
• Must be able to work at a computer/desk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment
• Reach in all directions
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. maximum or carry any object up to 15 lbs.
• May be required to bend, twist, kneel, stoop
• May be required to stand periodically

REPORTING STRUCTURE

• Reports directly to Accounting Director

COMPENSATION:

RSS pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employees knowledge, experience and skill level.
