Job Summary :
This position is responsible for complying with all training and procedures to include inventory control, proper handling of material, recording and inspection of parts to ensure 100% parts and associated paperwork accountability for the maintenance department.
In addition, the incumbent will provide efficient receiving turn time to meet defined goals.
This is a 1st shift 6a-4 : 30p.
Key Responsibilities :
Comply with all training required, including warehouse procedures in receiving, receive-in inspection and materials handling procedures.
Work with the materials organization to troubleshoot materials issues.
Maintain warehouse locations to ensure parts accuracy and accountability.
Maintain warehouse inventory system for accurate up to date information.
Assist with resolution of obsolete material.
Assign in-coming non-product items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are met.
Create requisitions for POs to obtain necessary MRO supplies.
Work standard Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports.
Engage in inventory optimization to allow success of production goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings.
Basic Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
Preferred Qualifications :
1 year experience in warehouse operations & / or materials management
Experience with SAP preferred.
Experience with purchasing preferred.
Experience with customer service preferred.
Experience within a maintenance MRO setting preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Additional Information :
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems / tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
