Summer Environmental, Health & Safety Internship Skills: Optimal candidate will possess documentation skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with associates at all levels. Be able to prepare and collect waste water and storm water samples. Assist with preparation of Agency required reports and documentation. Assist with updating environmental procedures and plans. Aid the department in evaluating the environmental aspects and impacts of facility processes. Maintain the SDS database. Interns may be required to present a PowerPoint presentation on a safety topic and an excel spreadsheet they have developed from any previous school projects as part of the hiring process. Interns will be required to present what they have accomplished and learned over the summer in a group setting to management and staff at the end of their internship. Requirements: Must be working towards an Environmental Engineering degree, or Safety Degree. Preferred attributes: Currently has a 3.0 GPA or better Able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week Please include your graduation year Schedule: Internship will start approximately May 2024 and end approximately August 2024, based on Company needs and back to school schedule of the student.
