RUN Studios is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our busy and agile team!
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. You will provide direct HR and administrative support and assistance to the senior producers and program managers.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, highly organized with impeccable attention to detail, and bring strong interpersonal skills and proven customer service excellence. A good sense of humor and a collaborative approach is also a plus!
The HR Assistant position is a contract position with RUN Studios. While work for the foreseeable future will be remote, candidates should be currently based in the greater Seattle area to accommodate on-site work requirements in the future.
As an HR Assistant, You Will

- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in HRIS
- Onboard new employees and independent contractors
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees and managers relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Maintain COVID documentation as needed
- Assist with learning and development training and processes
- Provides clerical support to the HR department including managing HR mailboxes
- Conducts or assists with onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Must have a customer service approach, be team-oriented, work well with all levels of employees, and thrive in a fast-paced changing environment
- Must be able to work autonomously with little direction and self-initiative and follow-through
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Jobvite or similar ATS, and ADP
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications
- One to Two years of direct Human Resources experience preferred
- Prior related office experience preferred
