Rupe Companies is looking to hire a full-time Construction Project Manager who will work within the construction team. The hired Construction Project Manager will provide supervision for construction projects from start to finish. The person hired will lead the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish, including all stages of project development and execution.
· Coordinate and oversee multiple construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring that they complete tasks as planned.
· Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and estimate contents required.
· Prepare and negotiate cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules.
· Develop a project schedule and manage deadlines.
· Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
· Implement risk management strategies to reduce project risks.
· Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality standards.
· Address contractual issues and resolve any problems that arise.
· Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication among all parties.
· Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications.
· Provide regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
· Adjust plans to meet changing client requirements, scope, and unexpected issues.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
· 5 years of proven experience in construction management; commercial construction experience is preferred.
· Familiarity with construction/project management software.
· Strong knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and legal regulations.
· Excellent organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
· Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
· PMP certification or equivalent would be beneficial.
· OSHA certification or a thorough understanding of health and safety standards.
Compensation:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, in addition to base compensation and paid time off. These benefits will begin on the first of the month following the start of employment. The company covers 70% of the employee's medical premium on both option 1 and option 2 plans. The employer contribution may change annually. Employees are eligible for the 401(k) plan after three months of employment, with the company matching up to 4% of contributions if the employee contributes 5%. Vesting starts immediately. The base compensation for this role will be $105-110K.
