What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/RCMG position at RUSH Health?

 

Position Summary
Responsible for the care and comfort of all patients and their families.Responsible for rooming patients; taking vital signs; performing phlebotomy; assisting with procedures; maintaining appropriate practice logs; informing patients of normal lab results; patient flow and comprehensive documentation to support the care of the patient.
 

Position Requirements:

  • Medical background such as CNA, PCT, EMT or other medical/healthcare background
  • Certified in CPR
  • Medical practice management and EMR software experience preferred (specifically Epic).
  • Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) helpful.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented
  • Flexible; able to adapt to change
  • Bilingual a plus!
Employment Type: Full-time Shift: First shift Hours: M-F day shift with one evening shift
