Positions Summary: The Dual-Rate Pit Supervisor is a dual position between a Floor Supervisor and a Pit Manager. The Dual-Rate Pit Supervisor will follow the role of a Floor Supervisor on the days they are scheduled as a Floor Supervisor and a Pit Manager on the days they are scheduled as a Pit Manager.

Essential Job Functions:
- The days the Dual-Rate Pit Supervisor is scheduled as a Floor Supervisor they will adhere to the job description of a Table Games Floor Supervisor
- The days the Dual-Rate Pit Supervisor is scheduled as a Pit Manager they will oversee Table Games operation on the casino floor
- The Pit Supervisor will have keys available to them to open tables and the card/dice drawers
- The Pit Supervisor must be adept in supervising and motivating employees, as well as explaining casino rules and those of the games to both guests and workers
- The Pit Supervisor will open and close tables, hand out cards and dice and assist in card changes
- The Pit Supervisor will spend much of their time circulating among the tables, monitoring customers, employees, player ratings and customer cash transactions
- This is to ensure that advantage play, card counting and/or theft is not taking place.
- The Pit Supervisor will ensure there are no breakdowns in game integrity and ensure compliance with federal and state gaming regulations and they will report to the Shift Manager on duty
- The Pit Supervisor will assist in training new employees, when needed, and monitor job performance
- The Pit Supervisor will maintain the floor schedule while assisting with the game spread and table limits
- The Pit Supervisor will be responsible for notifying the Shift Manager when players are winning and losing 5K or more and perform Jackpot payouts
- The Pit Supervisor must be vigilant, watching for patrons who may be drunk or are acting belligerent
- The Pit Supervisor will also work to enhance the playing experience for guests, offering perks to the casino's guests, rewarding good play or a breakdown in service.
