Director of Quality Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management System
- Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes such as measuring production, documenting evidence, determining operational and performance qualifications, and writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
- Develops and implements the Quality led APQP activities specified within company process to assure quality from concept to production.
- Oversee customer required documents such as PPAPs, 8D, IMDS submittals, and certificate of compliance forms.
- Effectively interacts with Production and Engineering teams to maintain product supply and introduction of new parts.
- Sets Quality compliance objectives and ensures that targets are met.
- Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
- Interface with all departments (sales, engineering, production) on technical issues, specification requirements, inspection methods and scheduling.
- Represents the company during all customer and regulatory audits.
- Leads in the implementation and maintenance of company written Quality and SOPs.

- ISO Management Representative
- Manage Internal & External Audit Process
- Reviews customer PO requirements obtained during RFQ process and ensures all quality control and quality assurance activities are consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelors degree in quality, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing with supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years of statistics, Six Sigma or other analysis experience preferred.
- Familiarity with and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and documentation maintenance.
- Experience/understanding of customer drawings, specifications, and basic blueprint reading.
- Knowledge and understanding of FMEA, APQP, and PPAP
- Understanding of fasteners industry specifications preferred.
- Familiarity with multiple quality accreditations (ISO, IATF, A2LA) are preferred.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, such as forming, thread rolling, machining, and grinding preferred.
