What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corp Production Analyst position at Rust-Oleum?
As our Corporate Production Analyst, you’re there to analyze finished goods inventory and plant capacity requirements to develop a production schedule.

Here is what to expect:
- Review production schedule inventory targets to balance the scheduling of finished product.
- Analyze plant capacity requirements and make decisions to modify schedule without affecting customer fill rate.
- Record compliance to schedule and work with plant to ensure high level of service.
- Use ERP system to plan, schedule and communicate rolling 6 week schedule.
- Work with other teams and management to make changes to reports and develop new reporting methods.
- Work with Marketing, Finance and Research and Development to develop and launch new products on time to customer launch date commitments.
- Collobrate with supporting functions to ensure plans are realized: Sourcing, Operations, Finance, Marketing.
- Evaluate product costing lot sizes to determine best lot size to balance manufacturing efficiences and inventory targets.
- Work to resolve problems with current procedures, such as communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
- Publish daily and monthly Key Performance Indicators to track important tasks for the Scheduling team.
- Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- SAP experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsofot Excel
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work well with other peer groups
- Ability to gather data and perform analysis to make recommendations
- 2-4 weeks of annual travel
