What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at RV Country?

- Receive expedited packages as soon as signed for, sign out to work order and give to service writer / foreman.
- Inspect all deliveries, annotate any damage, shortage or discrepancies, accept or reject packages per manufacture/vendor policies. Notify manager and service when package/crate is damaged/rejected.
- Receive all orders within 24 hours, tag and bin properly in the system, put part in the correct bin.
- Log on manufactures website, print invoice to receive properly, invoices are to accompany receiving report.
- Verify the receiving report matches the invoice (less crating/shipping/freight) before receiving into the system.
- Keep shelves organized and labeled properly.
- Open and inspect packages, verify invoice and contents match, correct quantity received.
- Assist technicians / front counter pulling parts, sign out parts and freight on work order on the correct job line.
- Keep manager updated on issues keeping shipping & receiving from completing tasks.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent oral and in written communication skills
Monday - Friday / 8am to 5pm
High School Diploma or equivalent
