Part-Time RV Technician Duties

• Perform maintenance and repairs on recreational vehicles (RVs)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems
• Repair or replace RV components
• Install accessories and upgrades requested by customers
• Test and ensure the proper functioning of RV systems
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Light maintenance and organization of facility as directed
• Training as directed
• Other duties assigned including maintenance of the facility and facility grounds

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in using hand tools and specialized equipment for RV repairs
• Knowledge of dealership procedures and standards for RV maintenance
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair various RV systems
• Sales skills to recommend additional services or products to customers
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Excellent communication skills to effectively transmit information to customers and colleagues

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: Flexible Part-Time

This is a part-time position with the potential of a full-time position. As a part-time employee, we expect the staff members to be flexible with their ability to work approximately twenty hours per week.

Schedule:

• RV Doctor is open M-F 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays by appointment only.

Expectations:

· RV Doctor is a drug and smoke free (including vape or e-cigarettes) environment. A criminal background and drug test may be required as a conditional offer of employment.

· Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two current points.

· A minimum of a high school degree or GED is required.

· Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Experience:

• RV Registered or Certified NRVTA or RVTAA Technician (Preferred)
• Mechanical trade experience (preferred)
