The Babs Siperstein PROUD Center is NJ s first LGBTQ healthcare facility opening its doors in January 2017. We provide primary and specialty services to the LGBTQ community including same day sick visits, hormone replacement therapy and PrEP. The Patient Service Representative PSR works with the practice physicians, manager, and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient operations PSRs prepare for patient visits, triage practice calls, schedules patient appointments, and performs routine clerical tasks. The PSR acts as a practice ambassador contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Participate in outreach events and program development
Experience with or interest in LGBTQ health highly preferred
Minimum three years of experience in a medical office setting
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology preferred.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
