Driver

Job Overview:

The Driver is responsible for utilizing the hospital s truck to safely transport food to and from the Williamson Street Campus (WSC) to the New Point Campus(NPC).

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to operate a box truck and a lift gate
• Valid Drivers License in good standing required

Preferred:

• High School Diploma preferred not required

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part Time Evening and is approximately up to 20 hours per week including weekends

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the kitchen when necessary
• Assist with catering or other food service duties
• Facilitate the clean up and disposal of cleared trays when needed
• Communicate well with dietary staff and hospital staff to better serve the patients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Drive carefully and mindfully in order to ensure timely service safely
