Job Overview:
The Stress Lab Registered Nurse ensures quality non-invasive cardiac stress testing on inpatient and outpatients for various age groups, adolescent adults, and geriatric patients. Has cardiology experience and is able to respond to critical care needs. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, APN's, CMA's and non-clinical staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current New Jersey RN licensure
- BLS Certification approved by AHA
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Cardiology/ cardiac experience is a must
- Able to read and assess EKG's
Preferred:
- Epic experience
- Stress Testing experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Current New Jersey RN licensure
- BLS Certification approved by AHA
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift working, 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Monday - Thursday
- Full-Time
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring and respectful manner
- Responsible for assessment of the patient with telemetry monitoring
- Responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the EKG stress testing area
- Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure, policy, and procedures
- Maintains appropriate logs and licensing for stress testing lab, and medication under regulatory guidelines
- Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies
