SUMMARY
The Director, UVS Finance will report directly to the VP of FMS Finance, and will lead the analytical and financial support to the Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) Used Vehicle Sales (UVS) organization. This role will be responsible for providing financial oversight and pricing strategy for Ryder’s North American UVS contractual business. The UVS Director will partner with Product Owners to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and business objectives. The FMS UVS organization is responsible for managing the disposal of FMS lease and rental assets, balancing market pricing requirements, sales targets and inventory levels to maximize returns to Ryder. This person is a key member of the UVS team and will support the financial aspects of from both a strategic and tactical point of view, with a specific focus on developing and providing insightful analysis on trends and projections for the FMS leadership team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Expected to lead and manage a team as they: Prepare financial analysis related to the contractual pricing, including monthly analytics on sales results.
- Review Financial and Operational results
- Provide financial support to Sales force and operators in structuring, analyzing and pricing large deals opportunities.
- Ensure costing assumptions are reflective of the current structure.
- Comparison of Actual results to Plan, Forecast, and/or Prior Year
- Act as Financial Advisor to the UVS Vice President and Directors of Sales
- Prepare P&Ls and review key balance sheet accounts
- Assist with closing books
- Ensure Financial integrity of location results
- Coordination between Headquarters and Field
- Monthly forecasting
- Consolidate, prepare and analyze financial data to understand cause-and-effect relationships and identify drivers.
- Candidate will be expected to perform a broad spectrum of analyses which will require data gathering extraction from various sources.
- Support National Sales force in developing new market opportunities leading to on-site locations and revenue. Support National and Local Sales Force in pricing applications. Set appropriate priorities for deals and ensure timely response to all deal requests.
- Present close results, operational data, and forecasts in written and verbal formats to senior leadership.
- Participate in various miscellaneous projects as required
- Facilitates efforts for setting of all pricing strategies to drive profitable revenue growth with Senior Leadership.
- Maintain fiduciary responsibility around company policies and controls
- Ensure costing assumptions are reflective of the current structure.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required Accounting or Finance
- Master's Degree preferred In Accounting/Finance
- Eight (8) years or more Managing Finance and Accounting (including Financial Analysis and Planning, Financial Reporting) required
- Five (5) years or more Financial Management experience in large organization preferred
- Advanced computer/spreadsheet knowledge (Excel) level required

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $102K to $140K. Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
