We are now recruiting a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our diverse Automation Team in DTS.
The Supply Chain Data Analyst is central and dedicated analytics point of contact for IPL and SC management, 3PLs, carriers, and consultants within global operations. The analyst synthesizes and leverages datasets based on modeling with process knowledge around planning, distribution, warehousing and logistics and its interdependencies.
Presents results to management and business partners to support making high-impact business value decisions. Engages with the business and IT on (data) governance to make sure that Data and Business Processes are aligned, with high-performance and agile processes as result. Closely collaborates and builds effective relationships with team and business partners to understand the data and related improvement needs of the business. Continuously searches for innovative ways to drive awareness on data driven opportunities and will be recognized as a key member in the analytics/data science area within supply chain domain.
Responsibilities :
- Drives analytics for supply chain and transportation optimization by collaborating with cross functional teams
- Support key strategic initiatives and process improvements with analytics contributions
- Understand market trends and assess impacts with regards to supply chain operations.
- Support the development of an “analytical capability” and data concepts to become the business expert in these areas
- Translates medium to large data sets, analysis, and complex models in usable, effective, and presentable data to key stakeholders to drive business improvement opportunities
- Effectively participate in Agile Ceremonies with Product teams
- Participate in production of innovative analytic solutions that drive existing and changing business processes and business strategies
- Perform recurring and ad hoc quantitative analysis to support day-to-day decision making
- Work with customer-centric algorithm models and tailor them to each customer as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/analytical or related discipline (Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Information Systems) or equivalent years of work experience
- 5 years or more of experience in Supply Chain with Inventory Management, Logistics and Warehousing
- Alteryx experience required
- Experience with SQL, VBA (data pulls, reporting development, scripts, etc.)
- Strong cross functional collaboration with supply chain users is essential
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required
- Excellent helicopter view as well as deep dive analytical skills are required
- Ability to translate complex data into a consumable presentation
- Ability to travel to 2-3 conferences a year.
- Nice to have PowerBI data visualization development
Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000. Employees may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, as applicable.
