SUMMARY
This position serves as lead financial support and key member of SCS Automotive Vertical Business team in partnership with Vice President of Operations and Group Directors of Operations. The position reports to the Group Director, Finance of Supply Chain Solutions.
REMOTE WORK FROM HOME
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the overall Financial Management ofassigned areas and customer accounts.
- Manage the implementation and communication of corporate financial objectives within the supported business units.
- Establish overall goals and objectives for business units operations, financial and administrative areas.
- Review operational analysis and corporate financial objectives prior to implementation.
- Analyze business units' goals and objectives to assure they are in alignment with the organization
- Oversee all business plans to ensure accurate and timely reports for use by top management
- Organized labor wage, benefit modeling and negotiation
- Participate in commercial negotiations and lead commercial pricing exercises.
- Performs Financial & Operational analysis and reporting.
- Ensure adequate controls are in place and Sarbanes Oxley compliant
- Performs budgeting and forecasting. Drive cost reduction and operational improvements
- Drive growth through formulation of optimal customer deal structure and strategy. May include development of customer proposals and subsequent negotiation
- Prepare and evaluate requests for capital expenditure and related presentation material
- Manage receivables and collections
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Legal team to evaluate customer and vendor contracts to ensure company's business needs and interests are best represented
- Create an empowered and well-trained work group, capable of making decisions and implementing functional strategies in support of the business
- Provide guidance and support to Field Finance Directors to assist them in decision-making
- Other ad hoc analysis and projects as required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance.
Master's degree MBA preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Ten (10) years or more experience Accounting, Finance or related field
Ten (10) years or more experience Progressive Management experience

Knowledge of Ryder's Finance and Accounting systems; advanced level.
LICENSES
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Upon Hire, preferred).
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
25% to 50%Applicants from California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York City & Washington:
Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $110k to $185k.
Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
