SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Investor Relations will report directly to the VP, Investor Relations. This role supports the Company’s investor relations activities including establishing and managing relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors and developing investor communication materials that articulate the Company’s strategy, financial performance and opportunity for long-term value creation. This role interacts frequently with a broad group of individuals throughout the organization including Ryder senior corporate and operational management, and individuals in financial planning, accounting, corporate communications and legal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as investment community liaison by participating in investor conferences and non-deal roadshows with CEO and CFO; support VP-IR in responding to analyst and investor inquiries
- Support investor communication strategy through development of quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations and annual report; coordinate earnings call process
- Responsible for investor website content development and systems enhancement
- Proactively monitor market trends, peer businesses and other factors that may impact investor interest/stock movement; summarize analyst research reports and share insights with management; prepare board of director updates
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance required
- Master's degree MBA preferred.
- CPA, or equivalent work experience in Investor Relations or Securities
EXPERIENCE
- 7 years of Finance experience
SKILLS
- Excellent communications skills, including oral, written and presentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and investment community
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and investment community
- Knowledge of capital markets
- Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Word
LICENSES
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
