*The physical work location of this role is located in Bloomfield, CT. The work schedule for this position would be Sun-Wed, 7PM-7AM. Except Wed, which would be a 6 hour shift. You must be willing and able to commute to this location, and work this schedule, if you wish to be considered for this opening.*

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 an hour.

Summary

The Yard Lead/Dispatch Coordinator position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the operation

Essential Functions

• Sunday to Wednesday 7pm to 7am (Except Wed, which would be a 6 hour shift)
• Lead a team of 4-6 yard jockey’s for pulling and plugging trailers
• Assist to verify contents, temp and dunnage for customer
• Be the liaison between onsite management and customer
• Follow the dock door plan and assist with leading the overnight yard coordinators
• Document concerns for company and customer for follow up with management
• Operate a yard truck as needed if qualified for
• Process yard moves and verifications of yard equipment
• Identify items for refueling
• Utilize a tablet for moves

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required and 1-3 years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field
• Three (3) years or more experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field required
• Three (3) years or more experience in the trucking Industry preferred
