We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Shelby MI

Your probably wondering what your paycheck will look like.
$2120 or more a week
and it gets better..
- Driver Positions Pay Weekly
- $110k or more yearly
- Miles Pay: Always $0.76 per Mile with 1800 - 2000 Miles per Week
- Stops Pay: $79.00 per Stop with 3 - 6 Stops per Week
- Per Diem Pay: $25.00 per overnight with 1 - 4 overnights per week
- Sign On Bonus: $7500 - Pays you $3750 after 30 days and $3750 after 90 days
Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. Our trucks are three years or newer and all Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees who fuel up your trucks at our 800 Maintenance Facilities.
- Deliver SOLO To: Midwestern and some Eastern & Southern States
- Tractor Type: 2019 Freightliner Cascadia Sleeper with EPU's, Inverter and Refrigerator
- Trailer Type: 53 foot Reefer
- Freight: No Touch - Fresh Fruit

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performs other duties as assigned
