Immediately Hiring and Seating a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver and we want the right Transfer Driver to join us at Ryder in Shreveport, LA
Driver Positions Pay Weekly- Home Time: Local - Home Daily
- Picking up parts

Test drive trucks from shop
- Transferring trucs from a customer site to a Ryder shop or delivery to a customer location

5 days a week
- Mondays 7am-3:30pm
- Tuesdays-Thurdays 9am-5:30pm
- Fridays 10am-6:30pm
- $19 per hour
- All Training is Paid Hourly Rate
- Freight: No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement
- Route: Shuttle Equipment Rental trucks transferred between Ryder locations, or delivered to a customers lot.
- Transferring Empty rental equip/delivering trucks to customers, parts (straight trucks, vans, day cabs, sleepers, cabovers, etc.. based on what needs to be transferred)

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
- This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs Other tasks as assigned
