Basic Function of the Position:
Financial reporting & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, projections, investment analysis, and monitoring effectiveness of current financial and reporting systems.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct the annual operational and capital budget processes through collaboration with department heads and senior staff.
· Prepare P&L analysis, financial forecasts, and financial statements for the Vice President of Finance, CEO, COO/CFO, executive staff, Board, and Audit Committee.
· Report on investment portfolio performance, research prospective investments and execute operational investment activities.
· Manage cash and short-term investments to ensure the liquidity of the Association.
· Direct the implementation and integration of current and future financial reporting, budgeting, and decision support systems.
· Lead, develop, and direct departmental staff by planning, recruiting, communicating job expectations, coaching, and training.
· Direct all accounting and reporting for the companies Foundation, including reviewing monthly results with the Executive Director, preparing annual budget and forecast, and other ad hoc analyses.
· Assist with on-site financial operations.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.
· Perform other duties as required to meet goals of department and Association
Work Experience:
· Minimum of ten years corporate accounting experience
Education/Training:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. CPA and or Advanced degree required.

· Strong computer skills in accounting systems and spreadsheets
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
· Strong project management, multi-tasking skills
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential compensation information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
