The Role: Product Marketing Manager
The Team:
As a member of the Product Marketing team at S&P Global Commodity Insights, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market plans, creating sales enablement materials, and supporting revenue growth for a range of commodities, products and business initiatives. You will work closely with Product Management and Commercial leads to understand their strategies and develop product marketing strategies that align with business objectives. Our team takes an analytical and data-enabled approach to validate and communicate the impact of product marketing activities, with a focus on growing market awareness, improving customer retention, and enhancing customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Management, Commercial leads and Editorial (Pricing) leads to understand their strategy and define product marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
- Work closely with our Price Reporting experts and Product Management to plan, prepare sales enablement and execute on Platts price assessment launches, helping to maintain and build on our market leading position.
- Provide a balanced combination of strategic thinking, market knowledge and project management, collaboration with Marketing functions and hands-on application of the marketing strategy.
- Work with various stakeholders within our Commodity Communities to identify the types of sales enablement materials that are appropriate to support prospect & customer conversations per Diagnostic Business Sales Methodology.
- Optimize and standardize the development of customer value propositions, based on the challenges, wants and needs of target personas in target industries across the team.
- Develop simple, highly differentiated and values-based product, sector and solution messaging for the relevant target audience.
- Develop customer-facing assets that map company and solution capabilities to customer needs.
- Analyze metrics to help team identify what is and isn’t working.

- Budget management, presentation skills, and an understanding of modern marketing tactics.
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in industry.
- Proven experience in Product Marketing, minimum 5 years.
Preferred qualifications:
- Expertise in Product and Solution Marketing.
- Achievement/goal-oriented, collaborative, customer-focused, detailed, persistent, active listener, resourceful, influencer, can-do attitude.
- Vendor management.
- MBA or MS-Marketing.
- Experience in Commodities Markets and/or Price Reporting Agencies
