S&S Aviation is a flight school equipped with a maintenance shop based at the Fairfield County Airport in Winnsboro, SC. We manage all the flight school planes as well as the customer planes based here. We maintain all types of General Aviation planes from Cessna 172's to Lake Amphibians. S&S Aviation has a position open for a Maintenance Technician, no experience necessary but you MUST hold an A&P license. As our Maintenance Tech. your duties will include a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, minor and major alterations, repairs, 100 hr inspections, etc.

You will be working alongside our current Maintenance Tech, assisting them in their various jobs. There is a lot to learn about servicing, maintaining and upgrading aircraft. There is also an opportunity to work alongside our Avionics Technician.

Maintenance Technicians pay will be based on experience. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, dependent on experience. If you have an Inspection Authhorization (IA) license, you'll receive an additional $6 per hour.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

  • Aircraft maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Airframe & Powerplant License (Required)
