Key Responsibilities:
Personalized Education: Implement tailored academic support by reviewing student records and identifying specific educational needs.
Collaborative Approach: Work closely with parents, therapists, and other providers to contribute to the student's comprehensive treatment plan.
Innovative Teaching: Design dynamic lesson plans using current teaching methods, ensuring active student participation. Assign independent homework to reinforce learning.
Qualifications:
- Teaching Credential: Hold a California Teaching Credential (Specialized - moderate/severe or mild/moderate with autism authorization).
- IEP Expertise: Previous experience in education with a focus on IEP-based services preferred.
- Successful completion of all employment requirements, including the clearance of mandatory background records (e.g., Department of Justice, Child Abuse, California Community Care Licensing, County Sanction List, etc.).
