Responsibilities
- Align strategic technology delivery roadmaps with project and program delivery plans to achieve targeted outcomes
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and project delivery plans are aligned to meet expectations
- Manage strong relationships across IT leadership and delivery teams and ensure regular, transparent communications related to project delivery
- Manage project portfolio prioritization activities, and clearly communicate outcomes to both internal IT, and customer stakeholders to manage expectations
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, in the process gaining commitment from key leadership to ensure realistic schedules can be maintained.
- Develop a detailed project plan for all assigned projects to track progress and ensure critical path items are identified and managed appropriately.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs and ensure key stakeholders (both internal and external) are aware of agreed upon and committed changes.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, including detailed weekly reporting of task, resource, financial and quality metrics.
- Report and escalate to management as needed and on a timely basis.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and issues to minimize impact to project delivery dates, finances or resources.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to ensure quality delivery or outsourced components.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including managing compliance with formal delivery and deployment frameworks.
- Conduct project completion analysis (post mortems) to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of project management tools and processes used with the delivery lifecycle.
- 50-100% Travel may be required to support international projects.

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
- Strong educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
- 5 years’ experience in project administration, management or equivalent delivery management in the information technology sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, often competing project workloads and activities.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development, infrastructure technology or web technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
