Job Title: Painter
Location: Northeast Ohio
Painter Job Description:
A local painting contractor is urgently hiring experienced Painters (with painter whites) for residential and commercial projects for Northeast Ohio. Ideal candidates should have at least 4 years of experience with brush and roll, and experience operating a spray rig is a MUST. Must be experienced working form lifts. Additional exp power washing and caulking preferred. Strong attention to detail is a must.
Painter Duties:
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, or smoothing surfaces.
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection during painting.
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers.
- Use power tools and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform touch-ups or repairs as needed.
Painter Qualifications:
- MUST have painter whites
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings.
- MUST be experienced working from an aerial lift, scissor lift, JLG, etc.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with stucco, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, caulking, and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Understanding of safety practices when working with paints and chemicals.
- Excellent communication skills.
Painter Compensation/Benefits:
- $23-$28/hr BOE
- Full-time with weekly pay
