Job Description
The Associate Art Director is a creative who demonstrates a passion for art direction and design with well-rounded technical skills. Works with the creative team to bring innovative ideas to fruition. Partner with senior creative team members to develop strategic executions through a variety of tactics — both physical and digital. Keep in mind what is right for the shopper, the brand, and the retailer.
This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.
Your Impact:
- Support larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation.

- Complete research projects and other requests.
- Assist in asset creation and deliver work you are proud of.
- A general knowledge of technology, user interface and visual design fundamentals.
- Stay current on latest industry and design trends.
- Maintain high quality on creative deliverables and understand brand style guidelines
- Use internal creative reviews for practice presenting and articulating the "why" behind the design
- Collaborate with production and digital production to design physical, social, and digital work
- Partner with the copywriter in concepting and bringing ideas to life through copy and art that tell a holistic story
- Help build beautiful decks that tell a compelling story about our work, our brands, and our shoppers
- Supports an assigned business account
- Complete revision orders and assigned tasks promptly
- Works efficiently and handles multiple projects and deadlines
- Participate in creative team meetings and work check-ins
- Accountable, ensuring work is vetted, approved, and proofed and that files are built and delivered on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in fine arts or Graphic Design preferred (or strong, non-spec work and industry experience equivalent to that)
- 0-3 years of experience
- Proficient in file management and organization
- An apprentice of the craft through typography, color, and design principles
- A resume and an engaging portfolio than demonstrates both conceptual ability and art direction craft (examples of digital (mobile, web & social) and print marketing work)
- Enthusiasm, big ideas and attention for details are welcome
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After effect, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- You are passionate about the creative world and love to stay on top of the latest trends, strategies, and technologies and how competitors within the industry are doing things

Compensation Range: $51,000 - $62,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
