REMOTE OPTION: We accept that this position will be primarily remote with occasional travel to offices or client site if you are not in the vicinity of the Saatchi &Saatchi X offices, If you are in the vicinity of the offices, there are Saatchi X employees who are working in a hybrid work model so you may go into offices if you choose to; our goal is to provide the opportunity for purposeful collaboration while being flexible to the needs of the individual.


Job Description


We’re looking for a curious individual with foresight, passion, and a collaborative spirit who will partner with our clients and guide our creative team to deliver strategic and innovative campaigns that drive growth for our clients and SSX.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ work experience in marketing, advertising, or digital strategy. CPG and/or retailer experience is a plus. Knowledge of mainstream programs and desk research skills is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic direction to guide creative solutions to client’s marketing challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally
  • Develop shopper profiles, shopping journey assessments, and apply other SSX tools and models to advance internal and external shopper understanding
  • Ability to analyze and synthesis data into actionable insights
  • Craft strategic & actionable insights that drive impactful and resonant creative
  • Create strategic business presentations that reflect insightful shopper strategy
  • Consult to ensure the creative product communicates clearly and links back to the brief’s insights and strategy
  • Gather and analyze data, both qualitative and quantitative, via SSX’s primary and secondary sources
  • Stay on top of business, consumer, retail, cultural, shopper, and digital trends
  • Be a reliable and consistent contributor to agency initiatives, representing the shopper’s voice
  • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders, including clients
  • Assist strategy leadership in implementation of departmental objectives

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years experience as a Strategist or Planner
  • BA degree in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of primary research (qualitative & quantitative) methodologies
  • Familiar with secondary research data sources; ability to navigate and extract insights
  • Working understanding of digital, mobile, online, social media vehicles
  • Strong writing ability
  • Contributes to impactful presentation stories
  • Quickly able to work within the agency’s processes and products
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Curious consumer of knowledge – keeps up with marketing / digital trends
  • Experience with audience profiling tools
  • Background working in an agency environment
  • Experience in Retail, Brand or CPG
  • Familiar working with a Creative team
