POSITION SUMMARY:
This visible role will be primarily responsible for providing HR support to our communities in the areas of employee relations, performance management, training and development, HRIS, recruitment, regulatory compliance, reward and recognition, and retention.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field required
- Must have an advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Dayforce experience a plus
- Investigates and facilitates employee relations issues regarding harassment allegations, work complaints, or other associate concerns
- Provides guidance on proper leave-of-absence, FMLA, ADA, AAP and other employment regulations including licensing/certification requirements
- Evaluates job positions, determining classification and exempt or non-exempt status; prepares occupational classifications, job descriptions and leads compensation and benefit analysis efforts
- Guides facility management on effective performance management processes; trains, reviews and recommends enhancements to employee performance counseling; ensures compliance to progressive disciplinary processes
- Participates in the development and implementation of consistent employee onboarding and orientation programs, recruiting, and HRIS
- Assists as a member of the HR team on continuous improvement activities; assumes responsibility for various opportunities that add value to human resource function; performs administrative support or other duties as required
- Assists with end-user training to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of HR systems
Experience:
- Experience working in the skilled nursing industry preferred
