Job Summary
This position holds a key role in SABIC Americas' desire to create sustainable value because it serves as vital role for assessing improvement options from a financial perspective and translating them into their intrinsic added value. This position contributes to sustainable value creation for SABIC through holistic, cross-functional financial analyses.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Define implementable plans that help the Americas region improve its cash situation and profitability.
- Contribute to Americas performance improvement by running “What if” scenarios and simulating future market opportunities.
- Identify trends within SABIC’s financial performance and analyze the company’s competitiveness by e.g. conducting external benchmarks.
- Assess how SABIC Americas can improve processes and practices across functions and drive implementation in conjunction with respective function.
- Responsible for Americas quarterly financial analysis and reporting including alignment with other regions.
- Develop and constantly update Contingency Plans to increase SABIC’s agility to react in economic downturns.
- Collaborate with members of senior management and consult in initiatives to reduce costs and increase revenue.
- Ensure holistic perspective across Corporate Finance functions in AMR region Business Cases (taxes, cash management, Accounting etc.).
What Matters to SABIC
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Must have 10 years of experience in finance, strategy or consultancy
- Prior FP&A experience
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Experience in structuring and managing multi-functional projects
- Strong collaboration and ability to interact with senior leadership
- Strength in dealing with ambiguity
