Location: Eagan, Minnesota
As a Machine Operator you will produce parts by setting up, programming, and operating a variety of CNC machines including saws, punches, press brakes, and milling centers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and standard work instructions (SWI’s).
- Read drawings to ensure productions of parts are within tolerance through using various measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, tape measures, etc.
- Use a variety of other powered hand tools, stapler, rivets gun(s), drills, etc.
- Maintain company quality and safety standards while operating various equipment and job duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans.
- Ability to cross train to other departments as needed.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, CNC experience preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Reliable and dependable attendance.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Safety First attitude.
- Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.
