Safe Fleet is seeking Production Assemblers!
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30PM - 12:00AM
Location: Belton, Missouri
A Shipping and Receiving Coordinator oversees the shipment and deliveries of products in a warehouse or organization. One must have an efficient organization, and communication skills as most of the duties include shipping and receiving merchandise and maintain accurate and proactive control of inventory. Additionally, a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator can have different tasks such as loading and unloading products, stacking up shelves and keeping it up to the standards of company policies, inspect the merchandise, and communicate with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and off-loading materials.
- Checks shipping documents and material received for damage.
- Verifies quantity and identifies incoming material as required.
- Maintains all shipping documents in an orderly manner.
- Maintains and organizes shipping dock area.
- Notifies individuals regarding MRO and R&D materials received.
- Assists sales and department with tracking material shipped to customers.
- Handles UPS and special freight handling situations.
- Cross trains others to assist in the shipping function.
- Data entry of inventory materials received.
- Issues bill of lading and coordinates timely pick up of product to customers.
- File and follow up on freight claims.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, small part assembly preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Reliable and dependable attendance.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.
- Working environment is an unheated and non air conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting.
- Safety glasses with side shields are required in the manufacturing environment.

- Must handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced, high stress work environment.
