Job Title: Facilities Coordinator - Nutritional Aide
Department: Shelter
Reports To: Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
Hours per week: 40
Job Summary
The Nutritional Aide plans to organize and monitor all aspects of shelter food service operations to comply with relevant codes and funding source requirements, ensuring shelter residents have access to varied and nutritious foods at all times.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inventories, orders, and stocks all food supplies for shelter residents.
- Completes weekly food order to maintain appropriate food levels and ensure residents' food supply is sufficient.
- Orders a variety of food supplies to satisfy all nutritional, lifestyle, and religious dietary requirements of the shelter residents.
- Makes daily rounds to all resident facilities to stock new food items, remove outdated items, and supply utensils & food service-related supplies.

- Current Food Handler Safety Card
- Ability to monitor and track food inventory to ensure proper ordering and minimize waste
- Understanding of dietary needs, for example, vegan, vegetarian, low sodium, etc.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
