Distribution Center Operations Supervisor

The Opportunity:

Safety-Kleen is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor. This individual is responsible for supervising and managing all inventory and personnel within the facility. They will also maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the facility is operating efficiently and in compliance. We are looking for a responsible individual with strong leadership and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Supervise all Distribution Center personnel and implement corrective action as needed;
• Manage, monitor and comply with all corporate and site specific time card and attendance policies;
• Work with vendors and suppliers to control costs and ensure smooth uninterrupted facility and fleet operations;
• Monitor personnel to maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the facility;
• Monitor reconditioning operations to insure quality control and cost efficiencies;
• Assist Distribution manager in maintaining regulatory compliance;
• Be familiar and understand interactions of office functions and procedures;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years' experience in a supervisory role;
• Clear understanding of regulatory issues as they relate to the industry;
• Certified in hazardous waste operations and emergency response;
• Exceptional decision-making skills.
