ABOUT THIS POSITION
New client acquisitions and recent internal promotions mean we're adding to our tenured team of Relationship Managers! As a Relationship Manager with Safety Net, you will have a strong Leadership team to guide you and you will be given the tools needed to be successful. In the role of Relationship Manager, you play an integral part in the success of both Safety Net and the clients you serve. You will be a trusted technical advisor to our clients' executives and main IT points of contact.
Our clients are financial institutions, healthcare providers, manufacturers, law firms, engineering firms, non-profits, and more. They are Michigan organizations with between 30 and 200 employees. A successful Relationship Manager has the desire to understand what each client does, how they do it, and what role their technology plays. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver IT strategy, budgeting, and overall technology guidance.
Building strong relationships is key. Fostering relationships will include meeting with your clients in an office environment, and outside the office; periodically taking these individuals out for lunches, dinners, and events. You may be invited to sit in on strategic planning sessions, attend board meetings, and participate in meetings with management. You will work with a team of technical professionals to develop and deliver solutions that satisfy the needs of your clients. You'll regularly connect with assigned accounts to review metrics, discuss recommendations, and initiate projects.
ABOUT YOU
"Excellence every day" is (or could be) your personal mantra. Not only do you thrive on exceeding your own goals, you find the most satisfaction in knowing your success positively impacts those around you. You are an IT professional, a top-notch communicator, and a shining example of a "people person." Relationships matter - you put in the work to earn trust and maintain it. You have a mind for strategic planning, seeing the bigger picture, and identifying the smaller steps required to get there. You recognize the critical role technology plays in business, and you are able to effectively explain that importance to others. You understand and act on "whatever, wherever, whenever."
