Tax Attorney
We are currently seeking a Tax Attorney to join an existing team of professionals supporting our clients's state and local tax needs. The ideal candidate for this role would have undergraduate education and/or experience in accounting, as well as a law degree and relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Apply state and local tax laws to benefit clients while minimizing tax obligations
- Complete Sales & Use Tax Reverse audits
- Review client companies' accounts payables data to determine sales and use tax payments
- Analyze sales and use tax payments for refund opportunities
- Develop appeals schedules and documentation for refund requests
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate Degree
- Superior understanding of the entire Internal Revenue Code, tax laws of the Commonwealth of PA, and local jurisdictions and adjoining states
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or public tax experience is required
