Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar HR role
- 5 years of experience within a manufacturing facility with increasing levels of responsibility
- Solid understanding of HR principles, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- HRCI certification is a plus
Requirements
- This is a fully on-site position.
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, changes and terminations
- Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records and HR
- Examine unemployment compensation claims, identify and forward discrepancies in claims; compiles data on claims and secures witnesses for unemployment compensation claims hearings
- Continuous interaction with department contacts and making regular visits to ensure understanding of processes and give support for one-on-one training and questions
- Facilitate human resource transactions, including promotions, demotions, transfers, terminations and maintenance of relevant documents and records
- Create employee engagement plans, obtain necessary budget approval and initiating activities
- Coordinate in-house communication & community communication programs
- Assist with the development & administration of all aspects of the company’s training and development program
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
