What You'll Do

Saga Education is at the forefront of education reform and innovation. We are investing in our data systems and tools to accelerate this vision. We are seeking a Data Analyst to bolster our data analysis and reporting capacity and to execute our data visualization strategy using Tableau. Central to this role is providing Saga's executive and senior leaders with access to data dashboards that can help them quickly digest and act on pertinent data. The Data Analyst will join the Data Systems & Analytics team which includes the Senior Director, Data Systems Administrator, Data Systems Specialist, and Data Insights and Reporting Manager. This role will report to the Senior Director of Data Systems and Analytics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• You will work cross-functionally to identify key performance indicators and data reporting needs
• You will compile data from various cross-functional sources and research the best methods for integrating into Tableau
• You will develop digestible and effective analytics reports and dashboards in Tableau for internal and external stakeholders
• You will conduct analyses of various data sources (in Tableau or other analytics softwares)
• You will present data reports and dashboards to stakeholders and provide training and support to end users, as needed

What You Bring

• You have a Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
• You have 2-3 years' experience working in data science or analytics or an advanced degree
• You have experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools (preferred)
• You have demonstrated success in making data visually appealing and simple to both navigate and comprehend for end-users
• You are extremely organized and able to successfully manage concurrent tasks/projects
• You are able to tackle challenges independently while also knowing when to seek support
